We met online through mutuals. We messaged the summer before I started at ECU. He took me out on my very first night in Greenville. This photo was taken on our second date which was only two days after our first. We were on the way to the pool at Ironwood Golf Course and my roommate at the time was asking for proof of life.

We were basically inseparable from that very first day. I would go to class, and he would go to work at B's. He could not go in the dorms because of COVID-19, so I would meet him in the Chico's parking lot. I was barely in my dorm because I would only go back to sleep.

Then, ECU sent all the freshmen home. I was devastated. I would drive to Greenville twice a week to see him. He would drive to Goldsboro twice a week to see me. This is also when he got his first speeding ticket, iykyk.

This was taken on his first birthday we celebrated together. The big 21 at Tiebreakers which is also where we spent my 21st birthday 2 years later. I just moved back to Greenville, so we spent every minute together again.

We spent our first New Years in New Jersey at the Ocean's Casino. This is when I first used a slot machine and realized I like my money in my own pocket.

Spent my 19th birthday in masks (ew) and at Dave and Busters. This was a very fun, but sweaty day.

I do not have a picture from our 1st anniversary. However, we spent the entire summer together. I moved to a new house, and am starting my final year at ECU. We were still inseparable.

This was front Nick and Sarah's wedding. This was my first time going to the Buc (iykyk). We played Thunderstruck many, many times that night!

I graduated from ECU. This was when I was offered a job back in Wayne County and knew I was moving back home. Peanut had also recently got a job in Goldsboro, so he was moving with me.

We spent our 2nd Anniversary on my mom's couch. It was the day before I started my very first teaching job, so we spent it relaxing while still moving into our first house.

Despite our landlord not allowing pets and being told getting a dog was a bad idea, we got Nala. Now, I do not know what we would do without her!

I knew my family was happy to have Peanut in the family when they included him in our family photos. These were also the last family photos before my grandma passed. These will always hold a special place in my heart.

The number of photos with just us in them seem to get more sporadic the longer we are together. This was taken on his very first cruise at Señor Frogs. He was unwell walking back to the ship.

This photo was taken at Jessie & Alex's wedding. I caught the bouquet, and he caught the garter. This was when all of the proposal talk started. We had been living together for almost 2 years, so I knew it had to happen at some point in the future.

Our family took a trip to the Biltmore and to go white water rafting. We had a blast and still talk about it till this day. This was also right before one of the hardest times.

After barely making through the school year, we went to Nashville, TN. We went to go watch AC/DC in concert. Even though the concert did not happen, we had a blast.

After our 5th anniversary, I asked Peanut to PLEASE take more professional photos. He is not a photoshoot guy. However, I feel that she perfectly captured our playful manor in this shoot.

Family snow day! Over the last 6 months, I had started grad school, and Peanut started a new job. Nala hates the snow.

They really got me good. I had a suspicion in November that he would propose, but nothing happened. Then, the week of, Payton asked me to get my nails done. Weird, but they all made me think I was crazy. Then, for our photos, my best friend and Peanut insisted I wear this white dress. Weird, but they talked me into trying to find a different white dress for later on. When the photographer posed Nick and Sarah with Nick behind her, I KNEW. I ugly cried throughout the entire thing. It was the best day ever.
